Cairdea [gaelic for friendship and connection] is a full service design and marketing company created by long time friends and business partners Renee Rudeen and Patrick Kenney.

Renee and Patrick bring a combined experience of over thirty years in design, marketing and project management to Cairdea. Renee’s background in account support, business management, technology and finance is key to Cairdea. Patrick brings to Cairdea a solid tenure in graphic design, art direction, marketing and business development. Renee and Patrick have, most recently, been focused on promotional products and advertising specialties providing branded and logo-ed products to a wide variety of client’s.

Cairdea Design & Marketing offers complete creative services from concept, design and art direction to finished printed product. Cairdea provides the marketing expertise to deliver your brand, mark or identity through corporate collateral, promotional products, apparel, awards and recognition programs.

Cairdea - Overview of the Ordering Process

Shortly after placing your order, you will receive an email notification that we have received your order and instructions on how to send us your artwork. Cairdea will check product availability, review your order for any potential problems with artwork, imprint issues and delivery times, and make sure to offer you any recommendations should our expertise be helpful.

Once your order is reviewed, you will be faxed an order acknowledgement with your proof showing the artwork to be printed and placement on your selected item. Please return this order acknowledgement within 24 hours so as not to effect your expected date of shipment. Late approvals from customers may require expedited shipping methods or in some cases rush production charges. If you require any modification please note on the order acknowledgment.

Pre-Production Proofs: we can produce an actual proof of your item with your imprint prior to running your entire order. We recommend this on all orders where time permits. Pre-production proofs typically incur an additional charge for screens and setups plus the cost of the item and can add 5-10 days to the order process.

Cairdea In-House Art Department

Cairdea can design and layout custom professional artwork including logos, event graphics and packaging to direct mail and complex corporate collatteral. We also have extensive experience in preparing your artwork for imprinting for a variety of processes. For most imprinting processes we require the electronic artwork to be in EPS (encapsulated post script) or AI (Adobe Illustrator). If you are providing artwork please review our artwork guidelines checklist (PDF available on request) prior to submitting your files.

The following artwork is not considered Print Ready: web images, photographs, slides, halftone art that needs to be resized, low resolution inkjet or laser printed artwork, photocopies, faxed art, letterhead, business cards, multi-color art to be made one-color or any other art that needs to be touched-up, color separated. Computer scans of the above are not considered camera ready.
